Digital clock or made in three variations namely digital clock for plat form area, digital clock for office complex and master clock meant for synchronizing all the other clocks.

FEATURES:
 
    • All the three clocks shall have real time clocks which are to be synchronized and corrected with GPS clock every minute in net work mode or alternatively each shall have separate GPS receiver in standalone mode effecting correction of RTC every minute. In case of failure of GPS reception, the clocks shall display Local RTC time display. Display shall be generally from RTC with Synchronization or without it.

    • The platform area clocks shall have clear visibility range of 50 meters

    • The RTC should be built in with complete circuitry, Quartz crystal, back up lithium battery, bus for connectivity microprocessor and non volatile memory with scope for eight years of retention of data in the absence of power .the accuracy is+/-one minute for month.

    • The digital clock architecture shall be micro controller based with ports  for  connection to real time clock modules, GPS receivers or to master clock in net working mode

    • The system shall be modular with maximum of three modules namely microcontroller module and power supply module, It shall be possible to replays module  wise in case of defects. LED modules are made  accessible from front side.GPS receiver shall be part of micro controller module depending on the requirement whether it is stand alone or network based. master clock shall always be built with GPS reciver.

    • The communication with GPS reciver is Indicated with blinking LED

    • The clock shall work on input power supply of 160-270 volts 50HZ AC with built in SMPS based power supply module.

    • The time indication shall be hours, minutes, and Seconds separated by LED flashing colon. The time format shall be 24hours selectable.

    • A test switch is provided for indicating the display of format”88:88:88 “when pressed.

    • Digital clock when wired in network  mode shall communicate with master clock can drive up to 32 digital clocks required for different modes of usage in net working mode there by synchronizing the timings of all slave clocks to global time provide by GPS receiver.

    • Digital clocks are inhibited from displaying any garbage in case the micro controller goes haywire by usage of watch dog circuit to reset the processor in such eventuality.

    • The clocks are built with dust proof and rugged power coated enclosures to meet extreme environmental conditions. the operational temperature range is -10c+70c and humidity of 95% at 40c.

    • The LEDs used are of stander make in colors RED or orange or green or blue having size of 5mm ovel radial and providing luminous intensity of 500 mcd (in case of red and prance LEDs)and 1400mcd(in case of green LED) to enable clear vision of characters from 50 meters difference.

    • Shade having an angle 15 deg with respect to ground is provided to protect the digital clock in such a way it shall not obstruct the view.

    • The  display on digital clock is immune to 25 kv traction line or electromagnetic induction or any other electrostatic induction .the data communication lines are protected against class-D surge protection.

    • The master clock uses multi port serial communication device to facilitate connection to several slave clocks for transforming GPS  timing data. In case of any one deferring GPS timing data. In case of any one defective port, another port can be used to make the slave clock functioning thus keeping down time at the minimum.LED indications are provided in the master clock with RED LED indicating failure of the link and green one indicating correct connectivity.
